The issue you describe is almost certainly a hardware issue. Given that your machine is a P4, I gather it is pretty old and you haven't changed the RAM or other hardware recently? The mostly likely cause is a flaky RAM module, but it could also be triggered by other hardware faults. Follow this guide - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/308427 - to open the Event Viewer and see if you can find info on the BSOD (should be a red circle with an X in it). Post the info.

Well, I changed my RAM out and the problem is still happening. Therefore, I am guessing I need a video card. I am not going to return my RAM because this does mean I have double the RAM now. It also means I put my old RAM back and have triple the RAM I had originally.
