Benfica Posted February 19, 2001 Posted February 19, 2001 I can't tell if this is a bug or not, and it's been driving me nuts for over a month now! I've spoken to the tourist in front of the statue, and I've spoken to Jumbeaux LaFeet, but whenever I bring up his father, Guybrush says "let's talk about something else." LaFeet won't tell me anything about the friggin Hat! I broke down and read a walkthrough, but I can't tell what I'm doing wrong! The worst part is, I played through the entire game up until that point twice, but I still have the same problem... It's so sad when a game is so bug-ridden that you don't know whether you're stuck because of a puzzle or a program error. Can anybody help?
Natty Posted February 19, 2001 Posted February 19, 2001 have you talked to the parrots about the bronze hat? if you've talked to the guy at the statue then you should be able to talk to whats his name bout his father ------------------

Kid Posted February 19, 2001 Posted February 19, 2001 Make sure you speak to the tourist about EVERYTHING, also, use any dialogue options at all to talk to LaFeet ------------------
