Serpentine Cougar Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 I just found out about this little game called Spelunky, and I must say it's quite addicting! It's a 2D platformer with randomly generated levels and an ever-present danger of death. Every time you die, though, you just want to go back for more and see if you can get farther or get more loot a second time around. The game is one of the better freeware games I've seen. If you want more information, here's a review. Has anyone else here played it? I've currently got about 60 deaths under my belt, and can't wait to explore (and inevitably) die some more!
Sabretooth Posted July 15, 2009 Posted July 15, 2009 Read a very intellectual article regarding the game at The Escapist and was very intrigued to try it, especially since a roguelike game has yet to impress me. The download link was broken back when I tried to download it, wonder if it works now.
