The second time at the gate it is important that you repeat exactly in the same order. If you suspect that the systems locks up then goto http://support.lucasarts.com/ and download the patch 1.1 P.S. When Guybrush finally goes through the gate, look at the clock and follow the instructions re going N-E-S or West. You will come back to the gate again and check your notes. Natty Posted March 14, 2001 Posted March 14, 2001 I woulda thought these clues n hints would have being self explanitory... talk to future guybrush and write down the order he says stuff and what he says open the gate and instead of following Guybrush, just go on and follow the map once you get to the other side of the gate, do exactly what future Guybrush said/did to you when you were on the other side of the gate Sorry for giving a walkthrough, I try not to do this, but really, I don't know how much plainer to spell it out, since he doesn't seem to understand what's being said, which is basically what I have said so far, cept by different people, and if you still don't understand then consult a walkthrough or something coz you've been given all the clues n hints a person could possibly give without telling you exactly what to do and now you're asking for someone to send a savegame to you? And the reason why you download patches coz EMI has a lot of bugs, so by downloading the patches it removes the bugs that are in the game ------------------ Victory? Victory, you say? Not victory. A patch is a small program that corrects for some bugs in the original program. If you have downloaded the patch and installed it, then yor EMI is updated. I simply doesn't have any more ideas what to do! ------------------ and Grannen

Normally you shall look at the clock and follow the directions. Then you will arrive at the gate again. Now you repeat what was done the first time.
