I have a problem with TSL!

I have two characters: good and evil oone.

The good is one I played before installing anymods.

The evil I played after installing mods

On the evil one I can't learn ANY lightsaber techniques!!! After some time of being a jedi, I think when I started was somewhere in the restoration zones a series of "automaticly added powers" (liek autmatied feats like force jump) started to appear called Bad StTref.

Uninstalled mods were deleted from Override folder on the third planet (narshadda) after the meeting with the jedi

I also coudn't do powers on a first prestige level up: it was just crashing each tmie I clicked on it, no matter what i did.

 

Can someone help me ? Do I have to reinstall the game ? And if yes will the forms be back as they should be after the reinstall ?

Probably you just need to start a new game. A lot of mods get screwy when they're installed mid-game. You don't have to delete your current game though, just start a new one and see how it runs. If it's fine then that was your problem.

Looks like your dialog.tlk file is screwed somehow :¬: ... due to those bad StrRef messages. The TSL Call of Aid mod uses TSL patcher for installation, it might have edited that file.

 

You should check for a backup (of the dialog.tlk before installing TSL Call of Aid) and compare files or better contact that mod modder (which mail is in the Readme of the mod) to see if he messed with the dialog.tlk entries.

thanks GeorgNihilus, you were right, the two dialog.tlk of one in the backup (although it was of Jedi Temple and not CoA) are different

although there is Bad StrRef in both of them.. but now as i thikn about StrRef might mean String Reference..... which is the mods fault because by adding the new planet it had to mess up the strings.....

 

well then, i have to get rid of Jedi Temple... it made the game unbalanced anyway.... Defence Bonus 7 plus two lightsabers of which both had atleast 12-34 attack (there are single hilt)

 

Edit: but im gonna reinstall the game anyway and start again cause my char have learned no forms and they will be back (if they will) after a level up so....
