Palm bombs?!?

Hello people

I just got to rank 35 which means that I got more powerful Palm bombs. The problem is: What are palm bombs? It doesn't say anything about them on any of the 10000 pages I've looked through on the internet, and it's not one of the PSI powers.

 

What are they?

How do I make them?

A palm bomb is sort of like punching the ground, I guess. All you do is jump, then punch while in mid-air.
