Your "Apex" IRL

Not sure if this qualifies as a game per se so I posted here instead.

 

(I'm sure the moderators or admin will take care of it if they deem it a game!)

 

So the subject its: What is your "Apex" or Ape Index?

 

Ape Index is your Reach to Height ratio. (Feel free to use nearest whole numbers or convenient fraction if you don't like messy decimals).

First you measure your height. Then You measure the length of your reach, open palms sticking your arms out from your sides from the tipe of each your longest fingers (presumably middle).

 

Then you calculate your reach minus your height. You do it this way so the answer doesn't require you to invert it by *(-1) because it is seeing the difference of reach to height.

 

 

For example:

Say you're 6'0" (182.9 cm) tall. (true height please)

 

Say your reach is also 6'0" (182.9 cm) long. (true reach please)

 

Now calculate the difference: (reach minus height)

H: 6'0" and R: 6'0"

 

Your apex is 0, since they are the same.

 

Say

you're 6'5" (195.6 cm) tall and have a reach of 6'1" (185.4 cm) long.

Your apex is -4 inches since your reach is 4" shorter than your height.

 

Say

you're 5'8" and have a reach of 5'11" ();

Your apex is + 3".

 

I used myself in that last example. (In metric

172.7 CM tall and 180.3 CM reach. Apex= 7.6CM)
