Bubble cities are not new. They've been around since at least the 60's. And they all have the same problems. Recycling the air inside, and heat generation. I certainly wouldn't want to live in a bubble city version of Phoenix haha. It would be like ALWAYS having your windows rolled up in your car. A failure of the air recycling system would cause the bubble to become insanely hot rather quickly. Though admittedly, you can control what goes in a bit better. But the cost of cooling would be very high.

 

Plus, I'd miss rainstorms and cool spring breezes.
