Trench
Just thought I would show these screenshots of the model that Bob Ta'aar made for this project. <snip> Good work. I know how much of a pain it is to work with limited polygons, so massive props to Bob Ta'aar. If I may offer some tips though, in order to make the head look smoother, and less like a couple polys have just been jutted out along the z-axis, try moving more of the Twi'lek head bulge up and around the montrals. If you add a bit of a dip between the two like the Togruta in this image, you might be able to move more of the polys into place. I'd love to try my hand at it, but unless somebody's able to convert an .mdl to a .3ds/.obj/.dae/etc, and back again, I'm stuck observing.
JebusJM
I've never been a fan for skinning/modelling, so I stay clear of the threads. But I've been hearing a lot of this Torguta skin and thought I'd give it a read, and wow. It's bleedin' amazing. This has a definite place in my KOTOR folder. Keep up the good work. I am sure Bob will be watching the thread and consider these suggestions. He mentioned in a PM he is crunched for time at the moment so any more model changes may be slow in coming for a bit. Bob Ta'aar
thanks for the feedback and tips. like bullobrien said, I probably won't get back to modding until late june. but I think anyways, that I'd like to wait for a skin-update, until I change the model again, so I can work with the new texture right away. so, again, we hope for some help with UVW mapping ! redrob41
If there is anyone out there who would be willing to help me get a new map for the new model I can take it from there. Send me a PM if you are willing. I left a note over at Deadly Stream on Bob's WIP thread. If either of you PM me there, you can zip & attach the model files. I find it saves on not having to e-mail small files. I can't promise anything, but I can at least take a look. My only real concern is that I've been having problems exporting from 3DSmax ever since I upgraded.

Bullobrien
Same as the other thread really. I am not going to be able to finish this stuff up into a final product but I am completely fine if someone wants the original files and wants to run with them. Just send me a PM and I will get them to you.
