Mediocre Mark Posted October 22, 2001 Share Posted October 22, 2001 I have Escape from monkey island on PS2 and I am stuck with those stupid parrots, I talked to the tourist and LaFeets son, and am 100% sure I followed the truth telling parrot (Liar said the hat was under the first rock, which it wasn’t so…) I followed the truth telling one to the rock where he said it was under, pulled out the puppets and it didn’t work? Mediocre Mark Posted October 24, 2001 Author Share Posted October 24, 2001 Yes the LaFeet guy told me about the parrots, I even talked to them and Guybrush says "He must be the truth telling parrot" When I get to the right rock it goes to the cut scene of him behind it and then skips back to a regular shot, IN FACT! my save game works on my friends copy of the game and it actually gets the hat, I guess my copy is screwed up??? It should not change back unless you yourself change his position. PS. BUT on another persons game it works, I guess my copy is haunted by LaChuck or something?? And it was a birthday present from a friend in Canada thus I cant return it! My wife wont let me buy a new copy either..LOL the bit...nah she may be watching Anyway thanks for the help PS. When I pause it after that happens and then un pause it, it goes to one of the preview cut scenes (the ones you see if you dont press start at the beginning) Argh!
