I think the gungans will be the most powerful civ in the game. Those mobile shield generators will make the gungan army a slow moving wall of death. I hope they dont get banned like the koreans and turks in AOC.

Well, when you see what they can do in the game alot of people may change their mind about the Gungans. they may be one of the best civs because of the fambaa and good mechs. They could really suprise you i think.

I think that the Gungans look like a lot of fun!! I'm going to be using them first. I hope for your sake (everyone who is bashing the Gungans) that you wipe that smug overconfidence off or you might end up like Emperor Palpatine whose overconfidence was his weakness!. Just because you have some kind of beef with the Gungans in Ep1 doesn't mean that your feelings should be aimed to the ones in the game. I believe most of your negative Gungan feelings stem from the presence of Jar Jar, who you unjustly say ruined the movie. That is a whole other arguement and one I don't have time for right now since I must be off to class shortly, but I'll end with this: The Gungans fought overwhelming odds, even with the knowledge that they all might perish. They fought bravely and with the utmost zeal. That, in and of itself is enough to commend them not to belittle them. It's much more than can be said for the cowardly trade federation who uses lifeless droids or the Empire who doesn't fight for a cause, but fights because it is forced to through fear.

as the empires slaves...... they may have had a lucky escape against the trade feds droids....but tie fighters, at-at's and troopers dont have remotes...... i think ill use them as at-at's shoes......squash em around it and just squish em into the ground........oh and those shields may have taken a blast from a tank but nothin....can with stand a load of at-ats.....ahhhh another enslaved species....will they ever learn?

Eloquent post, General! The gungans are awesome, - Jar Jar of course. They have really cool weapons and technology. They'll be probably the most entertaining civ, if not the most powerful.
