HED 10
http://www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=50069 Can't say I'm surprised this happened, but I'm not happy about it anyways.
megarock58 11
It's better than not having Star Wars comics at all.
HED 10
It's better than not having Star Wars comics at all. I suppose, but those are hardly the only two options they had.
Alexrd 12
I suppose, but those are hardly the only two options they had. Why would they pay Dark Horse to publish comics when they have their own publishing house at Marvel? Of course it's sad to see this partnership disappear, but it was only a matter of time ever since Disney's acquisition.

For the same reason that Disney is outsourcing Star Wars games to EA instead having Disney Interactive Studios do all of them. Unlikely as that would have been, I know. Of course, I agree, this was inevitable.
Alexrd 12
For the same reason that Disney is outsourcing Star Wars games to EA instead having Disney Interactive Studios do all of them. Not comparable. Disney Interactive Studios is a publisher, not a developer house.
LordOfTheFish 10
This is quite a bummer. I was never able to get into the original Marvel series even when I could track them down. I was a young child back then, but still, they always felt silly to me.
HED 10
Not comparable. Disney Interactive Studios is a publisher, not a developer house. They essentially are. Disney Interactive Studios currently owns three developers, and at the time of Star Wars' acquisition owned four. Sure, EA owns more, but its essentially the same scenario. Not to mention that a publisher is all Marvel is as well.
