Problem:

 

I started playing this game 2 days back, i had some ISOs i made of the game way back when, and i am using a No-cd exe because i long since lost the discs, thats why i made the ISOs. anyhow the game installed fine i went through all the steps to make it compatable with win 7. It has been crashing on and off through the entire game. first was at the very start trying to get to pods, i just kept saving about every 3 minutes and i got through. then i played for hours with no crash. then i got a few on dantoine and tatoine, but just as i did before save an go on.

 

NOW! im on kashyyk and i went to the elevator to be lowered down got down saved, an called it a night. this morning i loaded it up, and needed to go back up to where i could get party selection, and it crashed in the cutscence being raised back up. i tried a few times with no succes, so i just decided to press on. i got through to jolee and then went an killed the czerka guard, all went fine. go back to jolee and then it crashed once i get to part selection. i go in i select bastilla, press ok to confirm and it crashed. tried it with all characters, tried to continueon with just jolee, and crash. so i thought id go back to the lift, crash again. so my tactic of press on isnt working here. i am completely stuck in the upper shadowland. either trying to press on or returning up, both crash either in the cut scene or at party seletion. i have downloaded the KOTOR cutscene fix placed in overide folder, no joy. I have been using the savegame editor, but it hasent cause any problems so i really dont think that it the culprit.

 

Is there any fix for this? i have like 10 hours play in it, i just cant start over.... and i really want to get through the game, for the story. im doing a star wars things i guess, iv'e watched all the movie. now i wanted to get the story from this cause it is just so Epic, anyone whos played through knows what im talking about, an i defitely am not putting it here, as i wouldnt want to spoil it for someone who has not. if there is any way to fix this PLEASE help me.

 

i havent modded this game in quite some time, however i mention this because im not a noob, im quite good with computers, programming, 3d modeling an so on, i remember making a really cool jedi robe for this game back when. im just saying if the fix is someone involved thats fine, just point me in the right direction, and maybe a few resource links would be much appretiated...

Updated craphics driver, didnt fix it

 

Disabled movies and ran in windowed mode, didnt fix it. it went to a load screen when trying to be lifted back up but it crashed just before it was fully loaded.

First off, I am reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally sorry for digging up this corpse, but this is the only glimmer of hope I have!

i have downloaded the KOTOR cutscene fix placed in overide folder, no joy.

I've finally returned to this awesome game, but at EVERY cutscene my game crashes! The only workaround I have is to disable the movies, but it totally ruins the experience to have to miss the cutscene and half of the conversation, alt+tab to youtube and find the right section and try and reconcile the facts

 

This "cutscene fix" is all I have, can you please tell me where I can find it?
