On the back of the box it says "Optional easy made for beginners and magazine reviewers." Well how do you turn this on/off? I just clicked "Play Monkey Island 2" and it started, where is it?

I don't remember an easy mode, and the way they phrased it, I suspect it was a joke. wink.gif

I don't think it was a joke as it refers to something similar about CMI (its the triple pack) and I've read another post in here about somebody playing it in hardmode, I can't remember who or where though.

CMI has two difficulty settings, but I don't recall having a choice for LCR. I'll try looking through my instructions manual when I get home.

I played on Discs first time through. Easy mode IS easy. For example, to get the pieces of Big Whoop,

  • *You just buy it for 100 Po8 in the shop

*push the brick and take it

*steal it direct from Elaine, get caught, and when she throws it out the window, leave and just pick it up

*just in the coffin. And you don't even have to figure out whether it IS his coffin or not.

It was TOO EASY. The CD is on 'Hard', thank God.

Are there any other differences?
