So I deiced to play Knights of the Old Republic today, and when I got to the load screen after choosing the game save I wanted, it crashes to desktop very shortly after starting to load, no error message just from load screen to desktop.

I have uninstalled and even made sure that all the game folders where deleted, after backing up my saves, then reinstalled, make sure read only was unchecked for whole game directory, in the swkotor.exe and launcher.exe I have made sure it is set to XP service pack 2 and also to run as admin, I have also tried XP service pack 3 as was suggested by the compatibility troubleshooter. Nothing seems to work, help getting this to work would be great.

Here are my specs, and yes sadly I had to go from Windows 8 to 8.1 and this game worked just find in Windows 8.
