Steam Bought JA Crashs after boot screen

So I am sure this has happened to someone... I bought this off the Humble Bundle Sale and well It boots up then closes after it says that some error has occurred forcing JASP to close... I have tried to redownload it, empty the Steam apps Cache, and put it into compatibility mode. on all down to Vista... none works. and there is no specific Error the windows are giving me...
