MarianoRyu
I cannot seem to see the campaign intro text in either faction's side. I also cannot see the losses in the after-action report. Oddly enough, this works well in Forces of Corruption. I'm running Windows 7 (64-bit), and my graphics card is a Radeon HD 6450. Please help! Thank you very much in advance! Tecness
Set EAW to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP and see if that fixes it.
MarianoRyu
Set EAW to run in compatibility mode for Windows XP and see if that fixes it. Already tried, doesn't work. Running as admin as well.
Tecness
There was a vista/7 specific patch, I recall. Maybe you require that.

Tecness
Regardless if you have the gold edition, you should still try to get the windows vista/7 Patch.
MarianoRyu
Regardless if you have the gold edition, you should still try to get the windows vista/7 Patch. I can't patch it. It tells me my game doesn't need the patch.
Tecness
It did that for my disk copy as well. See if you can manually install it/download it to a different location and apply it yourself.
Tecness
Well, here's what I'd try to do. Uninstall, reinstall. Manually do the vista/7/ram patch. Set the compatibility of the actual .exe's of the game (Steamapps>Common>Star Wars Empire At War) to run in windows XP service pack 3, run as administrator. Try that, and then get back to me. MarianoRyu
It must have been a wrong file. I got the patch elsewhere and it now worked. Here's what I did: - Reinstall Empire at War - Reinstall Forces of Corruption - Apply patch. I haven't yet touched the compatibility settings, but now I can see the EAW intro text. Thank you very much for the time and patience.
