Red Alert Posted March 15, 2015 Share Posted March 15, 2015 Hey, I'm having a strange issue where the first line of dialog when talking to an NPC has no subtitles, only voice. Normally this isn't a big deal because I can hear just fine, but when an alien starts talking in another language it can make the rest of the conversation very confusing. Anyone encounter/fix an issue like this before? A google search doesn't turn up much. I am running on windows 7 with the restored content mod + widescreen patch, if those make any difference. Red Alert Posted April 22, 2015 Author Share Posted April 22, 2015 So I tried a bunch of things and couldn't fix the issue, but I did find a workaround that's good enough - if I alt tab out of the game during the dialog and tab back in, I can see the subtitles.
