Natty Posted January 2, 2001 Share Posted January 2, 2001 i know this is probably a really stupid idea, but i think a monkey island movie would be kinda funny- afterall, so many movies have been turned into computer games and vice versa, so why not monkey island? i know it probably wouldnt be the same, but it's an idea, anyone got any ideas of who could probably play parts? Guybrush- i honestly have no idea who could play guybrush... Elaine- Kate Winslet Possibly? I think maybe due to the red hair and firey spirit makes her a good candidate for elaine Le Chuck- someone really really ugly, smelly, and a basic jerk who can play evil people really well Stan- Jim Carrey? I don't know why but i could imagine him as a great stan Voodoo Lady- i was thinking whoopie goldburg even though i dont really like her Sword Master- Drew Barrymore, ala charlies angels style, cept with a sword and insults they're just a few characters to begin with anyone else got any ideas? i mean i know it will never happen but it's an idea and i think it's kinda fun to think of who could play loveable computer game characters Natty Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

And David Hyde-Pierce would've been a good Guybrush but I think he's too old now. Do you know, that back in '92 when they were actually planning to make a MI movie, Leonardo DiCapprio was penciled in as Guybrush? Shudder.
