what am i doing wrong with the rocks

i throw the right. it hits root i throw middle. mid hits root i throw left. left hits mid and mid goes down opposite place. i throw another left after i throw left. it says throw last when 3rd hits root. what root?

when you've thrown the left rock and it hits the middle one and the middle changes into that other path wait for the middle to hit the root then throw the left rock again.
