What speed do you have and are the animated signatures slowing down your download? I have a Cable with 512k/s download and the animated signatures doesn't show any delay in my reading the posts. The connection varries from that mostly but cable itself seems to be unstable. Depending hom many people are using it and how the cable company is doing the connection will be in a very wide range. I can use it as much as i want and it costs about 50$ in a month.
