Basically Screwed Unless You Help

<FONT face="Century Gothic"> Someone deleted the files, etc associated with Escape From Monkey Island instead of using the Uninstall feature... <IMG SRC="http://www.escapemi.com/forums/smilies/cwm34.gif" border=0> Therefore I cannot play unless I reinstall... but I cannot reinstall unless I uninstall and the needed files are gone forever... You can try to completely remove the folder

"Monkey Island 4"

It might help. smile.gif

You'll probably need to find and delete the registry entries made by EMI

Here is next suggestion.

Click on Start - Run.. and type

d:\Install\setup.exe

where d is the CD driver.

Make it easy on yourself and go to http://www.jv16.org/ and download RegCleaner. This'll make it simple to get EMI out of your registry. Instead of searching, you'll just have to find the LucasArts entries under the software tab, check the one that's specifically for EMI, hit the 'remove' button and the program will strip out everything EMI-related for you.
