Guest Darth G Posted October 21, 2001 Posted October 21, 2001 The cannons are only available in tech 4, and they are equivalent to the trebuchet in Aoe2, the best long range artillery weapon for taking down power cores, walls and towers. I was flipping thru the aussie computer mag and they did a feature on GB and the screen shots showed a huge destroyer droid rolling and then another in attack mode. That gigantic destroyer droid i surmised it to be the trade fed cannon looking at the tech tree and the concept drawings of the official site. I can't wait to play the Trade Fed, or for that matter all of the units. Wonder if anyone could find a pic of the Cannon in a screen shot

hannibalscipio Posted October 21, 2001 Posted October 21, 2001 I guess the Trade Federation will have it's strengths in the 1st(Battle Droids) and 4th(Destroyer Droids) tech levels. The Trade Federation and the Gungans might very well be the most interesting civs to play in the game. Hey looky! I got to 50 posts!
