CaptainRAVE Posted October 27, 2001 Share Posted October 27, 2001 Eager customers who ran out to buy Disney's new DVD release of "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs," expected to be one of the biggest gifts for the holidays, were disappointed to discover that it wouldn't run on Windows XP or 2000 due to a glitch. A Microsoft spokesman said that business partner Disney "didn't test the disk on Windows 2000 or Windows XP" and that "hundreds of thousands" of DVDs were affected. One customer said: "It looks to me like Disney hurried to get this on the market. For Microsoft, I didn't find anybody that was willing to listen to my problem."
