CaptainRAVE
Bleem, a company based in California, has been forced to shut down after legal threats. It made "emulator" software that allowed people to play Playstation games on their PC's. Sony sued the company last year, but Bleem counter sued saying Sony was exercising an illegal monopoly in the games industry. The company is baffled that Sony should sue them. They say "What we're doing is taking titles that have really had their day on the PlayStation, and were making a lot of money in royalties for Sony that wouldn't have happened otherwise. They're making more off every sale of Bleemcast than we do."
Darth Simpson
So Sony finally got them, after countless battles in court. What a shame, I really liked Bleem! Hopefully I can still get the Metal Gear Solid disc for Dreamcast.
