"The Sims" video game technology fights Bin Laden

American scientists from the Naval Postgraduate School are developing a computer simulation game to predict the next moves of terrorist groups. The video game may help better understand the jihad m.o..

 

The "agent technology" from "The Sims" inspired the GI Agent Editor, the simulation program underneath the "Sim Osama", the military video game to fight al Qaeda terrorists.

 

"Some of the very best games have very, very simple rules," said Will Wright, creator of "The Sims." "But amazingly elaborate strategies emerge that you can't predict."
