jediritter
Hmmmm. A couple of days ago, I registered and posted a question about online play with AI. I saw one reply and I replied to it. Now today not only is the thread missing, but my username was gone and I had to reregister??? So did anyone else reply to my question? About the game having pauses and then just freezing when playing online with AI after you hit T3?? I don't see anything in the patch about this, I hope it's fixed. Guest Supreme Warlord
It is happening to some people. You need to ask Darth Rommel or Leon about it. I heard about it. Some of my thread have also disappear and plus most of the people post have been taken away....Ask a mod to help you out

jediritter
More than a little frustrating! I'm guessing it has to do with the forum move. As long as it doesn't happen again I'm not really concerned. Oh, I found this in the troubleshooting file with the CD: Problems Due To Dropped Packets And Communication Failures If you are the host, and one of the players' Internet connections is dropping packets, your PC will attempt to re-send the lost data to that player. If the resend fails or too many packets are being lost, the host will re-send guaranteed delivery packets but must put other players on hold while it does so, pausing their game for a few moments while it catches up. During these pauses, you may still be able to scroll your screen, select units or do research, and these actions will take place when the game resumes. These types of problems are usually related to low-end computers or connection speeds playing with higher-end computers or connection speeds. Well that's exactly what happens to us, except my friend and I both have 1.4GHz PC with 384RAM or more and I'm on cable and he's DSL. Again, we have no trouble with just the 2 of us, but if we add an AI player to make things interesting the game starts doing this right after all humans reach T3.
