Guest roach
I apologise if these have been asked/answered before. I'm just hoping a few of the wise men out there can shed some light on these questions. 1. Why are Jedi Masters a separate unit, as opposed to an upgrade? 2. Why do trooper recruits have a higher attack rating then repeater troopers? (is it because repeater troopers have a higher rate of fire?) 3. What type of unit is the Gungan walking shield generator thing? (arrgh! forgotten the name and cbf looking it up) 4. What units should an effective Gungan army contain? I keep losing with these guys, I just can't get the hang of them. If anybody replies, thanks in advance. I may post some other questions later
duder
1.They wanted to keep in touch with how the Jedi system works, hence knights and masters. 2.Are you sure you have your facts right?!?! 3.Faamba shield generator. 4.Faamba shield generator, with an assortment of strike, destroyer and assault mechs with the obligitory bounty hunters and AA troopers. (Im not a big Gungun player so others may give a better answer, but they are a prodominently a mech civ).

Guest jediaoe
gungans eh. Build troopers, both mechs, depends on what your enemy is using more, have some of those heavy fambaa guys that shoot stuff and a fambaa shield generator. Make sure you make a couple armies of these. They last a while and if you can attack more in one spot they can do significant damage.
Guest jubjubjub
Upgrade to repeater trooper from heavy trooper and you LOSE 3 attack, i.e. -3 to attack. It must be an offset for the higher rate of fire. Attack goes from 9 down to 6. The only other effect of the upgrade is +5 to hit points.

captain_drake
you see how well balanced this game is if you have a civ that cannot have a repater trooper then they can do more damage the the faster fireing ones man i love this game
Heavyarms
also, roach, if one player gets all of the holocrons, you will be told, I believe, unless the setting is to conquest.

You are told by the computer, and, all temples containing Holocrons are immediately marked on the map. The computer did it to me the other day.
