Guest BatMan
BatMan is bumming hard. One of my co-workers died a couple of days ago. One of the nicest guys you'd ever meet. Left behind a wife and 4 kids. I guess he has a heart attack while he was getting ready for work. He was only 42 years old. What a friggin' crappy Holiday Season for his family. It makes you stop and consider what you're doing with your life. You know, I've always thought that what goes around comes around, and that you get what you deserve. But I guess being a terrific father and husband is no insurance against this kind of stuff. Sorry 'bout bringing your head down, but I just wanted to purge some of my crappy feelings. ------------------ Never Pet a Burning Dog.

Guest Imladil
Wow, that really bites. Hard. Wish it were a system where you got what you deserve, but it sure ain't. Hmm. Can't think of any way to lighten this thread up. Nope.

Guest Conor
I'm sure God will give him what he deserves, death isn't the end after all. Whatever the reason he was taken away, I'm sure his family will be reunited with him in a blink of God's eye. ------------------ Right is right even if nobody is doing it, and wrong is wrong even if everybody is doing it. -St. Augustine

Guest BatMan
Thank you all for your support. The outpouring of sympathy at work at been tremendous. Dean Whitter has set up a trust fund for his kids and they are administering it pro bono. There are about 250 of us in our division at work and we are all donating at least an hour's pay. That's better than $6k. We've also organized a memorial golf tournament. At $125 a head that should raise some funds too. If any of you snow bound folks want to play some golf in 75° weather you're welcome to come on down. Anyway, thanks again for support. ------------------ Never Pet a Burning Dog.
