Guest Rogue15 Posted November 5, 2001 Posted November 5, 2001 you're not helix, but you WERE helix. or you're turning INTO helix. oh, and happy birthday....Helix.
jesseg88 Posted November 5, 2001 Posted November 5, 2001 2 reformat a hard drive means 2 delete EVERYTHING, leaving the drive completely empty as if it is new. Then you reinstall the OS from a cd.
Zygomaticus Posted November 5, 2001 Author Posted November 5, 2001 when i tried reinstalling windows me it asked me if it should delete and i said ok but all the files are still there i think it meant delete and reinstall "windows files" and what do you mean reinstall OS files
Guest Rogue15 Posted November 5, 2001 Posted November 5, 2001 I can't believe you're actually formatting it. that'll erase everything man and you'll have to reinstall everything...i would try using scandisk first, doing a thorough scan, i did that the other day when battle for naboo wasn't cooperating, and it fixed SO many errors, had to have been like 10 of them...
Zygomaticus Posted November 5, 2001 Author Posted November 5, 2001 i dont mind reinstalling it all as long as everything gets deleted. about 50 % of my hd is used up and my system resources free are only 58% and i usually keep a max of like 3 or 4 games installed at once
