db6
I have read that our actions will not determine if we choose the light or dark side, and that LucasArts is trying to stay away from RPG factors, although our actions will influence how NPC's react to Kyle in the game. My question is: will there be a major impact of our action on the story line (like Jan getting killed or not), or will our actions be limited to interacting with NPC's? db6
Rogue_Ace
I don't think that you will have much control over the storyline just because you can't choose light or dark. I think that it is preaty much set in stone. I don't think you can take a swipe at Jan w/o loosing the game.
thrEEpaGe
you couldnt shoot down or slice down the moldy crow in jk (well DUH it was a sprite hehe) anyway, i doubt that a game of this nature being made by raven will have a non linear plot.. Kurgan
A sprite? Actually it was a 3d model (both in JK/MotS and in Dark Forces1).
db6
Does anyone know if any of the recent FPS (max-payne, Return to Castle Wolfenstein ... etc) have a "non-linear" plot. I have only played Quake 3 and Unreal Tornament, and these two are merely about fraging. I would appreciate some feedback.
Abomination5
I have both and I can't recall any situations where you coudl change the plot even to a small degree.

simon says
Hey, look at it this way--if the plot is linear it'll take em less time to get the game out. And the way I see it, there's always room for an X-Pack. They'll probably announce the expansion a month after the game comes out :D
