Boba Rhett
There's no way to make them stay on the units if they leave it's boundries. Otherwise it wouldn't be very fair. The Gungans, however have a unit that can carry a shield and walk around with other units, providing them with shielding. btw, cool signature. Chessack
Right. Sheilds are stationary. They defend whatever is inside them, but anything that leaves, will no longer be protected by the shield. Even the Fambaa shield generators (Gungan special unit) work this way. The shield surrounds a finite area. Anything in the area is protected. Anything outside the area, is not. Gaming Nut
Some units have their own sheilds though like destroy driod they can keep them where ever they go.
JediMasterEd
there is also the Royal Crusader as well as ships (though only three civs have that type of tech) and the Destroyer Driods, and the Gungann Fambaa Shield Generator. Heh heh, FOX 25 is having that Episode II Trailer Preview for the first time. I'm watchin it.

Guest DarthMaulUK
Droidekas shields re-generate but if there's a large force shooting at them, then they wont and they will die. DMUK
