Guest Lord Tirion Posted November 13, 2001 Posted November 13, 2001 I always thought stores got the games in ATLEAST the night before so by opening time the next day, the games would be nicely placed on the shelves. Well, thats not the case at all that I found out the hard way. I drove 30 mins to the mall only to find out that Planet X nor Gamestop (aka Babbages) had SWGB in yet! I asked them what time they expected their shipment today.. the usual bright answer.."I have no idea." And the pisser part is that not one of them even heard of it! Great job by the Lucas Arts Marketing Department...

They said 3 - 7 days. I live just south of a big city (Memphis), so you think that would help, wouldn't it?

(I Preordered) Thank you for your inquiry. USPS has a delivery tracking system. This means that the item is untraceable until it has arrived at your local post office, where it should be scanned in as arrived, staged for delivery the next day. It gives us a record number for them to look for the item if it goes past the expected delivery times of 3-5 business days. Thank you for your interest, and we hope this answers your questions. So that means that it could possibly be 2-3 more days for me. Sucks since this was supposedly shipped on othe 9th.

Every time a new Gamestar is released (germany no 1 PC game mag) my mates get it at round 10 o'clock and I can wait till postman is passionated enough to deliver it (between 1 and 2 pm). His greatest coup : most important issue for me (AoK got all-time highest rating) was delivered between 3 and 4 pm (on a saturday , so no school ...) Just a lil' story to keep you all from going on a lil' amok walk ...

I to pre-ordered from LA and my number not working yet either. I called them today and spent about 40 min with them while they tried to even find that I had an order! It was like I never ordered it, then somehow they found what I already knew, I indeed did order! Well, maybe I will see it this week at some point, I hope!

LOL"......i had a blast.....hope you guys get in your orders soon.....this game ROCKS........(AT-AT is really really cool......and the Wookie beserker is amazingly funny looking)

Guest Lord Tirion Posted November 13, 2001 Posted November 13, 2001 Bout damn time! I called up yet again a little after 4pm est and they just got them in. I went in and bought one for me and my friend. Played my first game and am really impressed. They did a great job on the music during gameplay.
