TUS_Tomcat
I'm thinking, Duel mode works like this: Two people do a 1v1, winner stays, loser goes back in line, new challenger What if: The same guy keeps winning over and over again, by skills, cheats (face it, its possible, although I hope LEC would make Raven do anti cheat patches if security holes were found) or cause he lags so much none of the others can hit him... Is there a limit on max wins, like, a limit on how many terms a president can be in office? Possibily host definable? Like, you win three times, if you win again you go back in line (and the loser goes too, two new folks)... Another thing, can duel only be played with sabers? Or can you have a blaster duel? (or stun baton duel!!!)
Cracken
I don't see how lag could help someone win in Q3. It's the new HL netcode that bows down to laggers. Also, I think that a max wins deal isn't that great of an idea, because if someone is good enough to keep winning, let him have it. After all, it's not wise to upset a great player. TUS_Tomcat
Ok i dont know the netcode really, was just pondering as stated in title Anyway, i think it might be a nice variable to setup in the server still, like 5 max wins, cause, it would get a bit boring for the rest. I mean, what if Changkhan himself came to play, everyone would keep losing from him... lol Throw in two new guys for a bit to spice it up again, then when changkhan's turn comes again he can own again for 5 games and show everyone how it's done
Cracken
Well, if ChangKhan comes into the server, just call me. I'll sweep in and slice/dice him up. (cocky, aren't I?)

Darth Mar
The way I would want this situation handled is if one person reaches the maximum number of wins, they still stay in, but instead of one new challenger, there are 2. And if they continue to beat 2 people a max number of times, you throw in 3 people, etc, etc.
TUS_Tomcat
that isnt a bad twist either! But then they couldnt call the game mode "duel" anymore now could they
Pedro The Hutt
(psst, Kurgan, GET IN HERE! we need yer gun lol) Well it would take alot of skills to keep on winning anyways, but a win limit would be interesting. Perhaps the host of the game can set such things.
