I bought the game today and my shields look the same... is it just a trailer hoax or is this legit? Guest Tie Guy Posted November 17, 2001 Share Posted November 17, 2001 They must have decided to take it out, and my best guess is that it reduced visibility to the point where units could get "lost" behind the energy effts. A good way to fix that would have been for the energy to move up abd down the shield, like it was pulsating. That would make it look alot cooler as well. I doubt its my computer I have 1.4ghz Athlon and a Geforce 3 TI 200 64mb vid card. At first I got happy because when I uninstalled the Demo it killed my full install game for some reason.
