sound problems with jk2

i have a tbs montego II sound card. i get this hissy, static sound when i run jk2. i can hear the sound fine, but there is that underlying static and its driving me nuts. i thought it was just my speakers, but it does it through the headphones too. it sounds kind of like the background noise when you listen to an mp3 on a low bitrate, or a streaming file.

 

any help would be hot:)

Hmmm...there's a TBS Montego soundcard in a PC at work...and it was a pain to try and get it working properly with certain applications, so I eventually gave up.

 

I'm moving this thread over to the Tech Help forum so this problem gets the attention it deserves.
