Guest T.I.E
When I play the game everything sounds alright until I mix it up with a bunch of units all crammed together.....then it sounds like something is confused on which sounds get precedence. Also during the breifings in the campaigns I hear crackling during speech. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem? I have a soundblaster pci64, 128 Ram, Pentium 2
Influenza
It's most likely your computer. Processing MP3 files takes quite a bit of processing power, so I imagine a lot of power is being eaten up with the playing of music. Thus, your sounds may be getting a lower precedence, resulting in the problems you're having. You may have to just give in and disable the music (which would be bad ). Try adjusting audio properties, making sure you have multi-channel support enabled, drivers are updated, etc. And disable all programs in the background before starting a game; this should be standard-practice for anything you do on a PII

Guest Thrawn
The only thing I can think of is check the site of the manufacturer of you sound card. I had that problem w/ one of my games, so I went to thier site and d/led some newer drivers and it worked fine. Try that, hope it helps.
