Mejia Posted March 30, 2002 Posted March 30, 2002 I just got Jedi Outcast today. Any way I loaded it up and when I was in the cutscene the the faces of Jan and Klye go very distored. It looked like their faces have been stretched. You can even see the jaw of Jan at times. This happens off and on. It comes and goes very fequently. In the game, the first level, Jan disappears and the shuttle gets distorted. I tried the game in safe mode with different drivers. Has anyone had the same problems? I have an Athlon T-Bird 1.1ghz. 256megs of Ram. Asus Geforce 2 gts. Any thought?
Deetox187 Posted March 30, 2002 Posted March 30, 2002 I had similar graphical defects, turning the shadows to simple mode fixed it. It also could be the video drivers you're using, supposedly the 23.11 detonators are best for the game.
StormHammer Posted March 30, 2002 Posted March 30, 2002 I'm moving this thread over to the Tech Help forum. You might want to check out Raven's new Troubleshooting Guide are well, because it lists supported graphics cards according to the OS they tested them under.
Doppler Posted March 30, 2002 Posted March 30, 2002 Mejia, Hope you fixed your problem. Deetox is correct. The game seems to have a problem with Volumetric shadows. Simple shadows fixes this graphical glitch. :atat:
