Smood
Intel Pentium 4 at 1.4 Ghz ATI Radeon 64 MB DDR Asus P4T motherboard 128 MB RD RAM Soundblaster X-Gamer 5.1 Maxtor 40GB drive (7200 rpm) 52 X Creative CD-ROM Firstly I must say this is quite possibly one of the best games of all time, and it is incredible. However my performance is very poor. To run the game at a sub acceptable level I'm forced to use 800x600 resoultion with medium to high texture settings etc. I don't understand this considering the fact that my system specfications are basically high-end and shouldn't have a problem running the game. I know the game is superior to quake 3 but I run quake 3 NO PROBLEM on 1280 * 1024... so what's wrong with this. My specs are above... I have the 9009 ATI driver for my Radeon as well as the appropriate OPEN GL drivers. What is wrong? Please assist me in making this game run smooth, while having the good settings my specs deserve. Oh and there is a strange problem in Single Player where I look up and everything brightens and when I look down everything darkens... what is that? THANKS FOR YOUR HELP JEDI, and THANKS FOR YOUR TIME!!!

Ramoz
Have you tried newer drivers? the 9009 set is pretty old.. Drop by Rage3d and download the 9021 set.. Works fine for my 8500, and it'll work for regular radeons as well since it's a unified driver set..
