Guest Cerebus Posted November 19, 2001 Posted November 19, 2001 I've tried 3 different races and as soon as the Rebellion get shielded Snow Speeders I am done.... That is trapped in my base since the AA turrets are the only effective unit against them. How can I counter this tactic?

Guest WC_heavyarms Posted November 19, 2001 Posted November 19, 2001 emm, leon, cerebus, use more anti-air troopers from the troop center, and also use anti-air mobiles, made at the heavy weapons factory. If you are having this problem over water, use fighters to counter or use anti air destroyers from the shipyard. You should also probably play through the training scenario. It is hard if you play AoK and you just switched over.
Guest Cerebus Posted November 28, 2001 Posted November 28, 2001 Ok, I have built enough tons of AA mechs but the shielded and upgraded snowspeeders still rip through my AA escorts when I am attacking and then of course they tear up my mechs and Bounty Hunters What should I do?
Grimjack Posted November 28, 2001 Posted November 28, 2001 Snowspeeders get a big attack bonus against mechs so AA mobiles aren't a good idea. Heavy AA troops and advanced fighters are your best bet. I also think they can be converted by Jedi Masters.
