Philosophy on Peace

i agree (although the wording could be changed)

you see, if we look at this logically and not philosophically, we're fighting, to stop other people fighting, it's like eating in front of someone whose trying to lose weight, it's completely stupid (fun though).

but looking at it philosophically, we can't have peace unless we have war and we can't have war, unless we have peace (and no, i haven't read the book). you see, peace is defined as the opposite of war (at least in any sane persons mind) and so for peace to exist in this world, we would have to have war. you see, peace is generated by those who do not fight, but for them not to fight, there has to be something not to fight for, and so using that theory, there has to be something to fight for, so in conclusion, if we were to have peace, there would have to be war and if we were to have war start, we would have to have peace first. so this is really a no win situation so i say there is absolutely nothing we can do about it.

anyone care to contradict me in anyway (plese argue, otherwise this would be a dead topic)
