Which graphics card?

Hello there, i am currently using a GF2 MX PCI card and have just recently got a new motherboard with an AGP 4x slot, and i wish to run my games in quite high resolutions, but this old MX isnt really up to the job. I have narrowed it down to two cards, The ATI Radeon 7500 AGP (64MB DDR) £91 or a GF2 TI 64MB TI £76, i was wondering which card will give me the best performance for the price and which is the biggest leap from my MX, any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

I'm not sure about the ATI, but the GF 2 Ti probably won't be that much of an increase. Your best bet to get better framerates at higher resolutions would be to save up a little and get a GF 3. A new graphics card doesn't fix all the problems. Whats your systems specs, because you could have a GF 4 but a 400 MHz PII and it would run terribly.

Spikecast,

I concure with Ferretous; also that the G3Ti200 would be a much better solution and also that they are pretty cheap. I just today ordered one for $181 and I don't even live in the US.

Point being, if you wanna upgrade to a good yet not costly card, G3Ti200 is the way to go.

Well i am gonna have to disagree, The ATI Radeon 8500 retail is about that same price as the GF3 Ti 200's and when you install the newest drivers for the ATI card it out performs the GF3 Ti 500 line.. (so I've read, I spend alot of time on amdmb.com, alot of people there have actually switched from the Ti 500's to the 8500)
