Perfect game, love it to bits.

But theres this little fly in the ointment thats ruining the multiplayer for me.

Ok I spend 2 hours on a server building up my character, getting his attributes just right, nothing god like, just good enough to enjoy a decent battle.

I save my force settings, close the game, and reconnect (cut off every 2 hours).

Open the game, go online, and realise ; Theres no way to load what i saved, so i have to start again, whats up with that!!!!

Maybe a patch to sort this?

Yes, I think this does belong in the TECH SECTION, but I'll go ahead and try to help.

I had a similar problem in my SP. After I loaded JKO, I noticed there was no icons on my desktop. so I go to start\programs\...\play sp in safe mode and send it to my desktop for a shortcut. So i play and have the same problem, my configs never saved. So i check out the jediknight menu again(off the start menu). The options there are play mp is safe mode, play sp in safe mode, play jedi knight ii and anothr I think. So i use the play jk link and it brings me to the main JK startup screen(like when you put the CD in and it auto-runs). I started a SP from here, made my changes, played, exited, started it up again and my changes were still saved.

To late to make a long story short, and what that previous gibberish means is, I think if you play in safe mode you cannot save configs.

HBK

just my thoughts, this in unconfirmed. I actually haven't played MP since i started using the normal startup menu. but give it try, can't hurt.

You could also make a config file and 'ececute' it when you start playing.

I have uninstalled the game, im fed up of the game letting me build up a wicked player, then after a few days i connect to a server to see my attributes have been wiped.

Im not using safe mode eiter, **** this.
