After spending all morning on here, I have seen the same threads re-appear every 10 mins or so. So here is a complete list of links and Ans. to all your questions. How to get to the console press shift+~ or shift+ ` on your keyboard Screenshots How do I take screenshots?? Bring down the console, usualy ~ or ` and type in 'screenshot' It will then take a screenshot called shot0000.jpg in your screenshot folder in the GAMEDATA folder were you installed it. You can also bind a key to take a screen shot. bring down the console a type bind "F8" screenshot replace F8 with any key of your choice. Console Commands Ok to enable cheats bring the console and type "HelpUsObi 1" Cheats are those commanly found in Q3 ie God mode - god No clipping mode - noclip Disable enemy - AI notarget Suicide - kill All weapons and maximum health and armor - give all Full health - give health Full armor - give armor Full ammunition - give ammo Spawn indicated amount of desired item - give <item name> <number> Unknown - undying Unknown - levelshot Unknown - where Unknown - setviewpos Unknown - force_heal Unknown - taunt Unknown - victory Unknown - fly_xwing Unknown - drive_atst Unknown - screenshot Unknown - com_speeds ! Anakin Posted April 2, 2002 Author Share Posted April 2, 2002 How do I get more dismemberment in JKII 1) Type the following in the console (this requires that you ENABLE CHEATS - which is what the first command here does) Note: just type in what is between the quotes a. "helpUsObi 1" b. "g_saberRealisticCombat 1" [this can be set higher, i put it at a 100, but that is overkill] c. "g_dismemberment 1" [which can be done in the setup if ui_iscensored = 0] if you find that people just fall apart when you walk by them use this as well: d. "g_dismemberProbabilities 0" and it should help 2) Another thing that you can do (I don't know how effective it is without the above part) is download this file . Extract the .pk3 file in there to base directory with the other .pk3 files The advantage of this is that it doesn't activate cheats - not sure how much of an effect it has so try it out. Type into the console cg_drawfps I have a 56k modem is there any way of helping the lag Im not sure if this works but type in /3000 into the console, aperntly that helps Also try cranking your resolution and some of the grpahics elements in game. That also helps too How do we edit the game? The Game Development Kit (GDK) has not been released yet, but should be this week (3 April week of).
