Try it out! It's fairly bad for me because I'm in Hong Kong but for a local 56k you should get about the same ping as I do, 350 or so, given your computer is of decent speed.

in the end i opted for the kyles arms model (all the model except arms and saber are invisible) and with saber off its hard to see and land a hit so the people who were coming after unarmed standing still jedi (and there were ALOT of them) had a harder time , though when you duel the glow surrounds the whole model making you perfectly visible - very useful

 

then we got people *****ing about how it was lame . Yess , lamer than chain killing a person standing with saber retracted and standing still uhuh?

 

i only just left because a) it was on star destroyer so no good duellin places and b)packed with lamers , only me and 2 others were duellin

 

jedi master sentrix is a particularly large lamer , beat him in a duel and it was 'lucky' lose and he starts laughing , gets all angry if you brush him with a sabre when hes not ready but has no qualms about killing me when im still and unarmed

Dark, you missed some good fun on bespin again, there wen't as many, but me, avenger. and shurr3ax were all duking it out in duels Then 2 more people joined, then the map switched. :mad:

I got on the server earlier and it was full of pretty cool people. Lots of dueling going on and no lamers! Had some duels against Archangel and several others... Unfortunately I have a constant 500ms ping there (in the UK), which makes things very tough. Makes me kinda sad because that was the best server I've found yet, with nice people to duel with

 

Still had a lot of fun tho.

Yep archangel retro avenger and ghoststalker were on there when I was and we had lotsa fun doing a jedi column and climbing onto a high ledge and throwing sabers at people. I even killed someone! (I had 800+ ping...hehe)

Look for the Ausgamers #2 server. Quite a couple of us are on there frequently. Saber only and no active force powers (meaning no grip, drain or push whores)

 

The server Alotofagina isn't all that bad, either, when the gun whores are away.

Played again and this time met Avenger and Retro too

 

Way too much fun, doing a force jump across ns_streets with 600ms ping is kinda scary though, lol

 

I'll be there again tonight and will stay longer, until the lag becomes really unplayable anyway.

Yeah the peeps from this forum are cool. No cheap slice n' dicing, and they're all good sports. The ping on that server isn't totally great, though.

actually that should be AusGamers Jedi Knight 2 (which is actually ausgamers1) dont go to AusGamers Jedi Knight2 #2 because that is a guns and force server

 

ill be on again tonight , praying i wont have to resort to the kyles arms skin to avoid getting ganked while waiting for a duel

 

i much prefer to be morgan katarn hehehe

I was just on the server again...a couple of hardcore duellers/true jedi, and the other 11 were just chopping up everything they saw. I bound a key to say "Leave unarmed/crouching Jedi in peace. They await their turns at a duel," but no one seemed to give a crap. Ping was good though, 350 or so. Strange that when the good people are around the ping is sky-high and when the retards hang there the ping is ridiculously low.
