stisev
I get a "CL_Parsepacketentities" error shortly after I join a game in Multiplayer. Can anyone explain what it is?

Dar
Ok, usually(not always) when you get that message you are(one or more of the three): 1. Using an illegal warez copy. 2. Using a no-cd hack 3. Use the Custom Installation option. If you are using #1, sorry no help here--go buy a legal version of the game. If you are using #2, don't most of the time it does not work for JK2, just replace your no-cd exe's with the regular ones and deal with having to have the cd in the drive. If you are using #3, uninstall the game and then reinstall the game using the AUTO install option(let it choose the directory to install to and such). That has fixed the problem for some. If you do not fall into 1,2, or 3, then Raven/Activision Tech Support may be your only option.

There are too many possibilities to be frank. Out of curiosity, is this when you are hosting a server also? If just joining, what type of network interface are you using? modem? NIC? what brand and drivers? Do you have a firewall? Are you aware of what spyware is, and do you use adaware to clean it up [note some spyware such as comet cursor actaully modify the windows sockets and can cause multiplayer issues in some games].
