mattskywalker1
Does anyone know how to enable the dynamic music in the game if it automatically disables it?
HC - Exar Kun
I have seen some problems with using Surround Sound, EAX, A3D etc... I reccomend using regular stereo sound... At low settings if you want it to be a little more crisp and a little less choppy... Hopefully they will make a patch for better support for Audigy, SB-Live! and other Surround Sound capable users out there. If you use EAX environments (with Live or Audigy) I reccomend choosing Normal Multi Speaker if you have more than 2 speakers.
HC - Exar Kun
POSSIBLE SOLUTION For XP: 1. Go to Program Files\Jedi Knight\Game Data\ 2. Copy the file OpenAL32.dll (Sound card libraries) 3. Paste the file into C:\windows\system32\ This will replace the Old XP libraries with the new ones. Not a SURE fix.....
mattskywalker1
Thanks for replying but I meant how do you enable the dyamic music in the game so that the music changes during the game depending on whether you are fighting or exploring etc. At the moment it is disabled because it thinks i have a lower end system. I have tried the safe mode procedure mentioned in the troubleshooting guide. Is there any way to enable this without upgrading ram (I currently have 128Mb). CaptainRAVE
Go into GameData/Base and open jk2config, then search for seta s_allowDynamicMusic and set the value to 1, which it should be already.....but remember, in some levels the action music isnt always very noticable.
