hehe..i have seen that also.... and even seen people done that in multiplayer sort of...1 time... and also run up the wall and performed a waay cool backflip from the freakin wall !!!

 

I have seen VERY few people performed some VERY awesome moves i will never figure out i guess :)

To wall run you must have a force jump level of at least 2. Run parallel to the wall, strafe into it and jump. If you want to flip off of the wall, hit jump again. That's about all there is to it.

 

BTW, the game's readme has descriptions of most of the cool acrobatics.

To walk on the wall, you just need to be against the wall and face the direction you want to run to and simple press forward and jump (i think you can't be on ground level, meaning you need to be standing on a crate or platform of somesort). Not sure if you can use it with force jump lvl1, cause i did it with lvl2.

Here is a couple of acrobatics i've learned.

 

 

1) If you run toward a wall and jump (just tap jump, it won't work if your character does a flip before hitting the wall) right before you hit the wall then hit jump as SOON as you hit the wall he'll do a backflip off of the wall.

Good for fighting reborn near walls.

 

2) If you sidestep (or strafe i dont know how the book calls it) into a wall, hit jump as soon as you hit the wall you'll do a in the air cartwheel.

Good for dodging enemy fire.

 

3) and finally the wall run. run parallel with a wall, while running sidestep into the wall and press jump (the harder you press jump the higher he'll run) for added flair you can press jump while on the wall and he'll cartwheel off of it. It's a combination of #3 & then #2

 

Plus you can jump on people's heads. it disables them for a second. good for fighting reborn jump on them and while your still in the air hit force speed and unleash all your fury before they can get their bearings.:fett:

Acrobatics are key for evading enemies and allow you to

maneuver into a better fighting position.

 

Command: Forward or Backward or Strafe Right or Strafe Left

+ Crouch

Conditions: Must be running or landing from a jump.

Move Type: Roll

Description: You will roll in the direction you have

pressed. Rolling from a jump may help absorb some of the

impact damage. Be careful, though, because once you enter

a roll, your momentum will carry you forward until the roll

stops. You can still turn while rolling so you can use it

to outflank an enemy or avoid rolling off a cliff. You

may not attack during a roll.

 

Command: Forward + Jump x 2

(Press Jump once to jump and again to flip)

Conditions: Must be running towards a wall and have at

least Force Jump level 2

Move Type: Back-flip off wall

Description: You will take a couple steps up the wall in

front of you and flip backwards away from the wall. You may

end up behind a pursuer, leaving him open for an attack.

 

Command: Strafe-Left/Right + Jump

Conditions: Standing still with a wall to your left or right,

must have at least Force Jump level 2

Move Type: Right or Left-Flip off wall (respectively)

Description: You will take a couple steps up the wall to

your left or right (depending where the wall is) then flip

toward the opposite direction off the wall.

 

Command: Strafe-Left/Right + Forward + Jump

Conditions: Running with a wall to your left, must have at

least Force Jump level 2

Move Type: Wall-run on a wall.

Description: You will rise up off the ground and run along

the wall for a short time. If you hit the jump button again

in the middle of this move, you will flip off the wall.

This move is really cool:cool:

You can do the Wallflip on anyone else to so run into him and jump you'll flip of him he'll gain some damage (you can even kill him this way) and will sometimes be knocked down.

tht looks pretty cool.

Maybe someone can make an figthing mod by addin mor such moves ;)
