Shadows in Names Explained

Haven't seen anything explaining how to do this on the forums yet... although I did hear someone say that jkii.net had a story on it a while back... couldn't find it. So here it is anyway.

Please correct or improve on these instructions if I'm doing something a bit out of the way for the same end result... this works, but there may be an easier way to do it.

This is taken from my updated funname.cfg file that comes included in Essobie's JK2 Config version 1.2

5) You can create shadows with different colors by stacking color codes. You'll need 3 color codes in a row to see the effect... the first color code doesn't matter, but you do need it there for the shadows to work. The second color code is the background color, and the last one is the foreground color. For example, to make red on blue, type in:

\name "^1^4^1RedOnBlue^7"

I put the ^7 at the end of the name in case JK2 has some of the same crazy stuff going on that Q3A did with death messages and stuff. The ^7 sets it back to white after the name is parsed.
