Ep. 2 release and Pics... Pictures contain spoilers for EP2, not actual thread

Anyone know the release of Ep2? Is it May 16th around the world, because I saw this pic and it was for the soundtrack and it said "It all begins on April 23" was wondering if it meant for the Soundtrack, or Movie, heh. and I posted some pics of Darth Tyranus (Aka Count Dooku) --->

Heh Heh, notice how his saber handle is kinda bent, thats a cool style, it's suppose to be a 1h saber that the dark jedi use =) Oh, and in the last pic, thats Jango w/o his Mandolorian armour

Well on April 23rd is when the Soundtrack and book are released I cant wait even though I have heard the entire soundtrack I will buy it and the book then listen to it while I read the book.

Woha, Jango (and thus Boba) are humanoid? I always imagined them as greedo type characters (except not green).

Greedo is a humaniod, that means human like, which means stands on two feet and has two arms and a head. but yes they are both human, was there ever any doubt?

I always thought that the actor that played Boba Fett was really ugly.

 

I see that we will be watching some John Woo-sabering (one in each hand). I Waited for that ever since I played JKI (BOC).

Yep, Count Dooku will finally show us some 1handed sabering, which I have heard the lightsaber battles are unbelievable in EP2, sounds cool, but i'm mostly looking forward to Jango Fett

Also interesting was confirmation that

Anakin loses his hand in the fight with Dooku, though they didn't mention that Jango Fett gets decapitated (or so I've heard).

Actually it wasn't Anakin's hand, it was his arm from elbow down, LOL

I heard that

Anakin loses part of the arm as well - however, one of the pics on that website says Anakin receives a "mechno hand" after being "maimed" by Dooku. They don't say he received part of an arm, or anything, but maybe I'm being too literal? We'll find out soon enough I guess.

BTW the pics on that site are scanned in from the Episode II Visual Guide thing, so I'd trust anything in the pics over what some fansite says, obviously.

April 23rd is when lots of the initial merchandise hits the stores, such as action figures, Episode II-themed cereal, etc. I believe the movie is opening around the world simultaneously (in most major countries, that is - some of the eastern European ones will probably get shafted again).
